Vision and Purpose
We believe vulnerability and risk are two things required to have intimacy with others. Yet our experiences say, “Don’t take the risk and don’t trust.” We’re afraid if we tell someone our deepest struggles they will run away. At Veritas Counseling, we want people to start with God, to become vulnerable and intimate with him. When we become confident that God will never leave us – when God etches his word in our souls – we have the strength to face what we’ve been running from. It is our goal to be God’s vessel in instilling hope and courage.

How We Got Our Name
Veritas (we say vare-i-toss) is the Latin word for truth. We chose it because we love Truth and because we try to speak truth in love every day.
